I am DYING to read the new Sweet Valley Confidential book. Yes, I know. I'm old and should not want to read this....but I grew up
While we are on the subject of Sweet Valley, my all time favorite Sweet Valley books were the Sweet Valley Saga books. Did any of y'all read them? They were my favorite because they were all about the Wakefield family tree and life before Elizabeth and Jessica were born. They were all set in different era's and told the stories of the older relatives in Elizabeth and Jessica's life. There were four of them. The Wakefield's of Sweet Valley, The Wakefield Legacy, The Fowler's of Sweet Valley and The Patman's of Sweet Valley. I'm also debating digging these books out of storage and
I really want to see Scream 4. Ridiculous, I know. I remember seeing the first movie in theatres as a high school freshman....and then the 2nd and 3rd Scream thrillers. It would be such a shame not see the fourth one, right? I'm sure the storyline and character's will totally take me back to adolescence. I'm also sure I will be terrified throughout the entire movie, will have clammy palms and jump out of my seat multiple times.
Whew! It feels so much better to let all that out. And if you happen to see me with my nose stuck in my Kindle...please don't ask what I'm reading. :)
Hope your weekend is a HOPPY one! Happy Easter y'all!
xoxo,
Mrs. D
Okay, now I have the Sweet Valley High song stuck in my head. (I had to ensure to myself that I didn't just make it up...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xb7IfS1NPpk)
ReplyDeletehahah Love it!! Happy Easter weekend. Hope you all have fun at Keeneland.
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha, well I saw Scream 4 last weekend..I made Brian get popcorn while I went to get us seats cause I thought it was going to be JAM PACKED. Well..it wasn't. In fact, the entire row we sat in was empty. Although I never got into the Sweet Valley High books, I have read 4 R.L. Stine Fear Street books this year...and they were a lot cornier than I remembered. sadz.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I am 75% through the Sweet Valley book and I am LOVING it! It is so juicy! I actually downloaded it to my iPod, and only allow myself to listen to it when I am running - it has been great workout motivation.
ReplyDeleteJust a little teaser... The book begins with the reader finding out that Elizabeth and Jessica are feuding because Jessica has stolen Todd Wilkins away from Elizabeth. The rest is a flashback that explains how the drama unfolds. You must read and report back!!!
Ummm... Sweet Valley High used to be my favorite show. I really can't wait for the movie. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read that book either! I already requested it from the library. Felt like such a dork but I have seen a few of my bloggy friends that are reading it too! I would love to go back and read some of the other ones again. You are not alone!!! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, this cracks me up! I say, go for it, read the Sweet Valley book!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog... I have to know how you eat so much cake, but stay so thin? You have a new follower.:)

I read this book over the past week on vacation. It's totally corny but brings some closure with the Wakefields. I never read the Sagas, perhaps I should now.
ReplyDeleteI am sort of intrigued by this book too...
ReplyDeleteI almost checked this book out at the library today. Let me know if it's worth the read. I LOVED those books too.
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower! Just found you through Life is Reediculous! I read SVH Confidential in about 2 hours. IT WAS DELICIOUS!
